New Blog...

So I am starting a new blog. It is going to be a food blog. I will review restaurants I go to, food I eat, as well as add recipes. I want it to be known as a premiere food blog on the internet today. I should have it started by this upcoming weekend.

Check out this awesome site... www.seriouseats.com. It is what I want to achieve.

Update of the Century

So we are living in San Diego, have been now for 7 months. Its definitely everything like you hear about. Basically you wake up its a little cloudy then its blue skies and 72+ each day. Its was kind of weird being here in January and February when it was supposed to be cold, but it wasn't! I am working as a travel nurse recruiter and Jaci is a preschool teacher. We are having a crap load of fun. We have had a ton of visitors but not enough, if you haven't come out, you better be. We probably are the best guest accommodationers in the world. We always have a stocked fridge, clean beds, and a beautiful apartment. So basically get out here if you can, why not its free lodging in San Diego you really can't beat that. So here are some pics of whats been going on.

Day 3, 4, 5, 6

So we spent day 3, 4, and 5 in Grapevine, Texas which is right outside of Dallas. On Friday we went to see the whole JFK deal, took tons of pics and what not. We then just explored most of Dallas. Its an awesome city, I recommend. So then we just spent the next two days (Saturday and Sunday) in Grapevine hanging and enjoying the free hospitality.

Day 6- We set out for our next destination; Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico. This was the most beautiful drive ever. The west is unbelievable. You can see for miles and the land is just amazing. This is an experience I feel everyone should have. Anyway we arrived at the Caverns at about 1:00 mt (mountain time). They were incredible. We descended 830 feet below the earths surface to see the gorgeous rock formations. We took tons of pics of these also. So then we left there and drove 4 more hours to Las Cruces, New Mexico. That is where we are at now. We are leaving today and heading to Tombstone, AZ and then Tucson, AZ where we will sleep. Tomorrow is when we finally will arrive at our destination; La Jolla, San Diego!

I promise I will add pics. The free internet isn't the fastest in the world. Ill get them ASAP.

Tip top Cheerio.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Days of the trip!

Hey all,

I am just updating everyone on our progress. We made it to Nashville in one day/night and spent the night in some little hotel. Drove from route 78 in NJ all the way through West Virginia (which is gorgeous) then through Virginia then into Tennessee. We woke the next day and walked around Nashville and saw some of this fantastic city. We went to the Country Hall of Fame and various other shops/bars. We drank some Nashville beer, Blackstone Nut Brown Ale, at 9am and it was wonderful.

Day two we drove through all of Tennessee and all of Arkansas. Arkansas kind of sucks alot; there is nothing for miles and miles and then out of nowhere you will see a HUGE church and an even HUGER cross (we took pics). We then entered Texas and drove the final 3 hours to Grapevine which is 20 min outside of Dallas. That is where we are at now.

Day 3: We slept in till about 9:30. We then woke and went exploring in Dallas. We saw the Sixth Floor Museum and the Grassy Knoll where the whole Kennedy deal went down. That was a nice historical journey. (we took a crap load of pics there too). We then ate at some place called Gators in downtown Dallas and went back to Jaci's aunts house in Grapevine.

A little bit of an update...

Yesterday Jaclyn and I received word that we were approved for an apartment in sunny San Diego. The place we are moving is called La Jolla Crossroads (link below). The place is like a freakin resort. It has a movie theatre, saunas, spas, a HUGE gym, pools and everything else. We will be living in the nicest part of San Diego. We will be living the good life. I want all of everyone I know to come visit. Dont worry you can sleep at our resort place. A lot of you thought we weren't going to do it. Well we ARE!!!! Wooohooo. We will be leaving on January 3rd 2007 and traveling the entire length of the country to our final destination of La Jolla, San Diego on January 10. Wish us luck. Its going to be a blast.

    Rutgers Wins!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Well this was a long time coming. Rutgers is 9-0, yes they are undefeated. Last night the no. 15 Rutgers Scarlet Knights defeated no.3 Louisville in a fantastic college football game. The little 15 next to Rutgers name does in fact mean that they are ranked number 15 in the NATION! Now if thats not insane, i dont know what is. They were a very horrible team only a few years ago and now are ranked. So last night the game was insane. Rutgers came all the way back and won in fantastic fashion. They kicked the game winning field goal with 13 seconds left. The fans stormed the field and everyone celbrated like a bunch of maniacs. WHAT A GAME!!
